Thanks for the input on pricing chicks. I am hoping to get a good hatch. I'm hoping to post new fluffy chicks for photo Friday next week.

Please do! We love seeing chicks in here! I have a broody due to hatch any day now so I'm hoping I have cute chick pictures too

Love the 2 birds I got from her - olive eggers
Bobbie the Roo drives my husband nuts ( he likes to Crow alot )
He tried making a anti crow collar for him ...I held him he put it on ..
He had it off in less than 5 min ..
I like having 2 Roos...like having more secret service men ..I feel safer

Mine are olive eggers too! Perhaps ours are siblings I have one NN barred frizzle cockerel from her eggs that I'm going to keep. Hope he doesn't crow as much as yours do - I already have enough crowing with my five other roosters!

Pyxis - do what I did - I don't see any of Rancher's posts because I blocked him a long time ago - I am seeing only what you quote from him ....

But it was such a breath of fresh air to only read on point things, and not hear lectures couched in 'but do it how you want it - but I am right' .... not hear input when I had already set the ground work about that input, he kept trying to lecture and assumed the lowest chicken info level from me on any post I made - even after I had been here for years so he should know I had experience ..... Sometimes he is funny - sometimes the jokes come off down right mean.

I love to say this to people - I married an old white man - but for the most part - I don't like any old white men because they are not only what they are - which is fine, but they try to make others just like them - which is not.

Viva la Differance I'm not gay, not transgener and I loved being married to my man ..... but I don't judge others unless they are violently criminal .... and the lack of that is why I blocked some posters here - I like to get my say in to - but found the info distracting from chickens! So after a few days of feeling itchy that I didn't see all the posts - I actually enjoyed the thread much much better !!!!


I like other's viewpoints - really I do - so others here who think differently from me - I don't mind at all ! I hope I am accorded the same from them - as I know how much I do for my community and my loved ones - and I assume they do the same for their's ....

So try that blocking - it is really liberating ha ha ha ha

Oh - I read this and see it could hurt Rancher's feelings - that is not my intent - that is why I never announced to him I blocked him - or tried to convince him to be otherwise - I know many on here enjoy all that he posts, I know he does good things in life and for other people - so it was all me - and finding that his personality didn't mesh with my thoughts - I finding I felt a lot of sadness and anger when I read his post - this was MY feeling - so that is why I blocked him ....

Again -that was hard - as I like to be "in the know" and always read ever post here - but once done - in a few days it was very nice and allowed only the positive (for me) of this site into my eyes.
