Just got a pair of India Blue Peafowl today! OMGoodness! They are beautiful! Yearlings so maybe next year I can get some eggs. So totally have been wanting them for years. Sometimes I just love CL.

I painted so of the new to us chicken houses today...with my 9, 7 and almost 3 yr olds...can I say..it was crazy...somehow one of the cans of paints got a hole in it and the paint leaked all over and the green paint...I think some is on the houses...the coops are about 8x10's and I have about a half of one of those 5 gallons pails of paint...I am wishful thinking it will cover them all.. and I don't mean all the kids...the coops were yellow with with trim...going for a green....giving to me paint and white trim...the whole project has cost so much...so I am trying to go cheap with the paint...I still need 2 new to me windows....
