There is a breeder in Florida I get my silkies from and she has the most AMAZING english buff orpingtons. I think her one roo Thor is almost 14 pounds. www.indigoegg.us I can't say enough about Bobbi and her beautiful birds. She ships eggs and birds.I did have dealings with AJ Domani, right outside of Seneca Falls, and it cost kind of a lot, I had called ahead because I really wanted Buff Orpington. The adorable chicks I was given were no way no how BO, they were some kind of sexlink. I drove really far. They also had an obnoxious email list that made me see red every time they contacted me. Just kinda sleazy. I too vote for Natureberry farm. Or private folks on here.
I love the "GRAB BAG BANTAMS" lol...Do they just throw them all in a bag and you pick one out??? JKFor those that are interested.
You would be amazed at the calls I had to go out on....Cow in the mud...Yup...there's a cow in the mud. Dead horse in the field...Yup, same old horse that lays down by the highway and generates calls about every other day. Dog in the car...it's 20 degrees out~ he's got a coat. Cruelty to a lamb...yup they just skinned him for a religious dinner.Neighbor down the road had state troopers called on him one winter for not having adequate housing for his donkey he had for many yrs. He pointed out the field across the valley full of beef cows and asked the trooper where their 'adequate' housing was...At least his donkey had a lean to for shelter (couldn't be seen from road).
X2You know what it is, guys? It's these animal rights activists that have absolutely NO clue what the heck is appropriate for animals. You're not even supposed to heat your barns because it isn't good for the animals' respiration.
I am happy that your home and animals are safe and hopefully it left your power lines alone also!Well, our Eastern Pines didn't fare well through the ice storm. Lots of limbs down - no damage to property thankfully. Some of the limbs were very near misses tho'. Guess I'll be out with the chain saw when the weather improves...
Go for it! Fire up the bator! IHmmm, should I Easter Hatch-a-long or not... Would have to ship in some of the eggs I want. Set date is March 5.

Wellllll...I have never hatched before, but I'm saving Mille Fleur eggs and a friend has loaned me a 'bator. This will be an experiment of sorts...![]()
you can get a shower curtain from Real Deals to tape in the bottom of the box ..then it can be cleaned out ..and one for under the box in case it leaks they poo alot ..so you might want to burn the box after a week or two ..No it wont ...I would start with a smaller box at 1st ..a little bigger than you need ...and go bigger as you need to .you can use shredded newspaper for bedding it can be burned also![]()
A good choice ...it helps them get a natural Light rhythmand we've decided on a mama heating pad cave so the chicks aren't constantly bathed in light and can get used to night and day while still being warm.
Your welcome
You may not have a problem with the hatchery ....see what happens
