I just watched the CBS news videos with no trouble but come here and everything slows right down. BYC it seems has opened up too many commericials trackers and video ads. My computer reves up ONLY when I'm on BYC. It's very frustrating.

I"m not sure how much I'll be here once the chickens are gone.

it must be somewhere in your settings ..do you have everything up to date ?
Like adobe Flash etc

Do your marans have dark eggs ? Im in search of dark eggs this year ..
whether I get eggs will depend on a broody ...I have only had one so far ..
The other 3 that went broody last year havent gone broody yet ..
How far are you from me in jordan ? I might want to come get some .

Ive been thinking of going in a few weeks up to Nuttys to get feed ..
I so miss the fresh ....organic stuff ..the fresh grains
Anyone interested in going up with me ..from Syracuse area ?
It wont be for a while as they are cutting out my Gallbladder this week ..
So I have to take it easy next week ..Not sure how that will work... thats not in my nature

Yes - my eggs are dark -not the very VERY darkest a Marans can be - but dark enough my first time customers do a double take and almost always reach in to pick up those eggs in among the other eggs.

If you figure the time it takes you to get to Lake George and then add on 30 minutes - that is the time to my place - probably too far - but anyone is always welcome to drive to me for hatching eggs.

I will be at chickenstock - but I know we don't decide who goes broody when ....
