I have been on a roll enabling and spreading the love/disease... Converted 2 families. One family got 12 chickens and 4 ducks and another family is starting with 2 ducks... Love spreading the love of poultry!! Invited them to join us. So hopefully they will be coming soon.

Isbars are some cool looking birds, they lay some cool eggs also. How many eggs do you get? GFF says they only lay 150-200 yr.
They don't look very meaty.

They are laying well. They didn't miss too many days yet! Not very meaty although I do have about 4 roo's in the freezer. Their eggs are yummy!

I don't believe half of the egg laying statistics anyway. I've had some breeds that are not supposed to lay good lay great first yr, some supposed to lay great and I wasn't impressed at all.
Isbars are some cool looking chickens, love the black eyes. I think I'd rather have them than EE laying green eggs as long as they were good layers.
