NY chicken lover!!!!

the Bredas I want to get non hatchery stock. I am going to travel to a few different breeders to get a varied blood line. I have hatchery rir, ba and WL. They are ok but my non hatchery spitzhauben are great birds. I want birds bred for the best quality.
they have all kinds of chickens townline does

I won't be able to order until spring but I found a few places that are not too horribly far. Maybe I can order them for pre chickenstock and you can pick up then. They look to be awesome birds of good size. Super family friendly so I'm very interested. I have to convince Jon we need a new breed first though.

Sounds good - and yes I would love to go in with you and I would be happy to pick up before Chickenstock since I have 2 beautiful girls I want to breed. I have p'm'd you too...

Sorry in near the pa border. I would keep your bantam boy though. Those little guys are vicious about their girls. No predator is safe from a d'Uccle. Mine loves humans (and my other farm critters) he just won't tolerate stupidity in "his" farm. He has sounded the alarm 2 separate times. Both times there was a stray dog after the LF flock. Plus they are just frigging cute as can be.

I wish I could keep him but unfortunately I can't. He is very cute

HELP.

I have an off chicken topic but hope someone can help. It's about a Children's book. I have been searching on the internet to no avail.

I don't know the name of the book, author or title. Only the synopsis.

IT'S ABOUT A BROTHER WHO VISITS HIS SISTER WHO OWNS A CAT THAT WANTS TO GET OUT AND TRAVEL. THE SISTER WISHES THE CAT WERE NOT SO MUCH WORK AND WOULD JUST STAY PUT. THE BROTHER IS WEARING ONE OF THOSE BLACK RUSSIAN TYPE HATS. AT THE END WHEN THE BROTHER LEAVES HE PUTS THE SLEEPING CAT ON HIS HEAD AND LEAVES HIS HAT SITTING ON THE CHAIR. THE SISTER DOESN'T REALIZE THE MIXUP BUT IS HAPPY THAT THE CAT JUST STAYS PUT. THE CAT HOWEVER IS HAPPY BECAUSE HE GETS TO SEE THE WORLD FROM ATOP THE BROTHERS HEAD.

If you read to your children and grandchildren her is a good book I found again. It's called Tulips by Jay O'Callahan and Debrah Santini.

For a New children's board book I'd like to recommend The Pout Pout Fish. It's a great book for a two year old. Our grandson loves it.

Remember RIF Reading is Fundamental. Children of parents who read are more likely to become readers. Children who are readers do better in math and school in general. Dad's read to your kids.
