Lemony Snickett on the left, the Lemon Cuckoo Orpington I picked up at Chickenstock. Thankfully a pullet Also thankfully a good chicken when a very excited red head took her hands off to talkanimatedly to the judge.

This is why I dont like to take my cat to the vet ...He Hates it He bit down with both teeth on my thumb ...I had to go to the dr the next day as it got infected ..Grumpy old Man he is ...I think he is close to kidney failure

Well....your infected thumb does look pretty scary, but since it's not contagious I'll stick around.

Since the change-over my notifications have been screwy. I didn't even realize I'd missed so many posts.

I got this pretty Blue Wheaten Amerucana at chickenstock - an impulse chick. Maybe from PhoredaBirds?

He holds one wing funny, down low. It's been like this for some time. I don't think it was an injury. Handsome fellow though.

It's been slow in here lately, I bet everyone has summer projects going on. I just finished putting up a new run for my ACs and moving two coops. Still have one more coop to finish up before Fall and have to put a roof on the Call duck house. Spent today taking pictures.

My littlest (a girl, almost 5) is just getting over impetigo. They had her on 3 different antibiotics when the first ones weren't effective. She's doing much better now, but it was a rough week. Taking that many antibiotics is hard on anyone.
