Thanks. Today is funeral day as long as the grounds not too frozen. Everyone else seems fine, except for one who’s been a bit puffed up but maybe she’s just cold? She’s a NH red. The other silkies seem fine. My Australorp sneezed once last night but I’d just put a fresh bag of shavings down. Ugh i just don’t know.Sorry to hear that ..

Many times when they die young they had a internal problem..
in which everything was not quite right .
Explain to your daughter that sometimes they are born with problems ..
As she died quite quickly ..she didnt suffer long .

My 18 hens are laying 4 - 6 eggs a day ..
But I have older hens some are almost 4 years old
It is enough for us to eat ..but barely enough to sell
