Hello from Syracuse! Anyone know where I can find some easter egger chicks locally or any colored egg layers locally?

Craigslist is a good place to look. I know someone in NY Mills (Utica) was selling Whiting True Blue pullets because I have to talk myself out of contacting him every day other than that I don’t know of anyone local, I’m sorry.

Hey everyone! I’m in eastern NY along the MA border and joined BYC when I started hatching and keeping coturnix almost 3 years ago. This past Spring I started keeping chickens (it began with chicks from tractor supply and now I have 21 more (lavender orpingtons, Swedish flowers and svart honas) . Decided since I was doing this thingand investing in a huge coop build, I would get all my dream breeds from the start.
I currently have 3 extra lavender orpington and 2 Swedish flower roos, if anyone is interested. They’re 11-12 weeks old and have betrayed themselves (crowing). The swedes are from greenfire farms. 15$ per would be greatly appreciated! If anyone around here is on the hunt for svart honas, mine are still only 5 weeks old but I plan to rehome any extra roos and, in about a year offer hatching eggs and chicks a little later on.
