Naked neck (turkens). =)
As for the cost, haven't hatched these yet although I am seeing bullseyes so would just be eating egg cost, $2.50/dozen. I can't guarantee my two roos are getting to all 12 leghorns as they have 30 ladies to choose from. I know they are hitting on at least a few of them lol.
(Gomez, my NN roo)
These are some ugly birds but strangely attractive. I don't have any, but have no room either. Surprisingly winter hardy too. Should I say don't have any "yet". Remember folks I'm always open for egg trades. Eggs for hay, straw, horse manure if you shovel.
Thanks! I got her from LadyLibra along with a roo but I had to rehome the roo. He was going after everyone here - the kids, my husband, the dog! LOL I was upset he wasn't more friendly. I was really hoping to hatch some lavender chicks but now it's just her and "GoldenStar", my son's Orpington mix.Stella is a beautiful hen -- love her color.

I know how you feel. My main JG cock got frost burnt and has not been right since. His first lot of eggs, all fertile, 5 of 7 that made lock down hatched. This batch 0 for 20.Candled eggs. Tossed the duds. Most were BR's. About 7-8. I am disappointed about the BR's. I've been letting them out to range, so hopefully, yearnings of spring will make the rooster more amorous.![]()

You do know I have lavender hens with black roos, don't you. Stella is an orp? I also have lavender amer roo over his black daughters. Mothers EE's have lavender in them. I have a Blue hen from them. I have eggs in the bator now but can't be sure what color they will be. If they hatch.
Point being you only need to come and get eggs if you've nothing to trade.
We are friends after all,
