Congratulations. They aren't an easy kill.
LOL one of my little tiny bantam pullets from CB actually managed to hatch two tiny little chicks from pullet bantam eggs. The size of marbles! They are so tiny and cute - will have to get pics. We are retrofitting that coop today as its not built for chicks. There's no way for them to get in and out! I've pulled mama and babies into a cat carrier- she isn't happy, but the chicks are safe.![]()
How very pretty!
I knew this was going to be your kill when the little thumbnail pic showed up on the side. It loosk very healthy. Ours look rough. Congrats!
Nice job Stony. Do you save the pelt?
not too bad at all. It ate my best broody, the 6 year old Mama blue a month ago. This was personal. I killed that rat bugger and was instantly HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!. The only good predator is a dead oneWelcome back Stony. I thought maybe one of your predators had gotten YOU.![]()
That gray fox is just stunning and very healthy in appearance (except being dead, of course). Sad it had to go, but I understand your situation.
