I am RESISTING THe DUCKS ...
I could have resisted but saw an opportunity to get something other than KC's and P's and took it. It's a huge puddle here some spring and each time it rains. It just makes sense to have water birds.

I am RESISTING THe DUCKS ...
Morning all. I can feel my fingers and toes again after going out to let out the cheeps. This is rediculous. Got my morning entertainment in. Gave the terrorists a cup of yogurt to eat in the run this morning. Talk about flying yogurt! They all looked like they were splash chickens and some had white beaks and ears! I just laughed looking at them. I dont think they were amused though. Eleven eggs yesterday. My egg customers are happy to be getting eggs again. Delivering 3 dozen the next two days.
Stony--nice article and I finally got to see the inside! You do very nice work. Wish I could buy one.
Lynzi--cute little faces! Must resist. No room.
Rancher--nice looking eggs. Lots of eggs. You must have lots of customers!
Jlaw---cute video of the babies.
This cold has my joints screaming. Havent worked on the sweater in a bit because of the cold affecting my hands. Typing is not easy either but I have to do it for work so I do it here. Hopefully it will warm up for the picnic or we will be having a big bonfire on the lawn at Tabs house just to keep warm!
Ta for now. Going to sling coffee today. Hopefully the mean people stay away today.

You know its cold when Niagara Falls freezes,solid.......
Stress for who? Chicken pets are not like other chickens. If you carry them in their own tow behind coop they should be fine. It's the change in the coop that stresses them out. IMO.
Quote: Rancher, put a container under their water dish. I have the top to a rubbermaid under mine in the barn, it catches the water they flip around. Something low with a lip so the water stays in it. I've got goose eggs, so excited....
Quote: I've sent eggs to Canada, you need a NPIP certificate that is current. I know of Canadians who come to shows in the US, I think all they need is a vet certificate stating that they came from a healthy flock, and of course, NPIP to show here. The certificate has to be issued at least within past 30 days.
Very pretty! I am firing up mine today
Well I'm right near the 81 / 481 Crossing and I can meet you if you bring eggs up and give you eggs to take up to Canada Then if you bring eggs down I can meet you again and exchange eggs so you can take some back to FL. Of course I'd pay a fair price too you know. I like to keep my friends like my books. Where I can always find them but seldom use them.Haha! It's more so stress for us at the border. All it takes is one agent with a chip on the shoulder.... :-(
As for bringing eggs up, hey I can do that. I should also ask some fellow Canadians if they need anything brought up there....we come back in May and I hear you CAN take eggs across....
