I have to say I get an e-mail invitation for a Psychic fair. You would think if they were really Psychic they'd know I don't go for that stuff. More like Psychiatric if you ask me.

I've even gotten Post Cards to the Psychic Fair. Well why don't they know I think they're off their rockers ?

I mean really. If there were true Psychics wouldn't they use their powers for something better? Like finding cures for disease? Bringing world peas.

Now if you want I can make a true prediction. They're going to get richer when you pay them to read you palm.

Just got back from being outside and I just want to cry at the amount of MUD that is out there along the back of my house. ALL the snow that melting is coming down the mountain and coming down the hill that my yard is and creating HUGE puddles of water and mud back there. So much that I want to call a place and have them dump a couple of yards of dirt back there so I can even it all out. I don't see it ever drying out.

And with this storm tomorrow? I'll probably have a full size skating rink in my backyard!

Hey everyone it's been a while how is everyone doing I miss chatting with everyone?

I'm doing ok just tough times and a little depression that's all.

Birds are ok a few chick deaths but that is name of the game. Had a bad hatch as well only 1 hatched but it's cool was given a few more chicks so the math all evened out.

Just got back from school drop off and had one of these things run across the road in front of me right before I got to my driveway!



This thing was jet black, and long like a weasel/ferret. Just googled it and found out it was a mink!

OMG...those things are killers. Next time hit it with the car and save the $1 for the bullet. If it gets in your coop? OMG. Make sure that doesn't happen

Think Edie enjoyed the nice weather today? She is normally all white all my hens look like they rolled in the mud today but they enjoyed the warm weather & sun. I think tomorrow when they wake up to snow they won't be as impressed lol

Had a short day at work today so I spent the extra time making little depressions in the soil (Mud, really) to get the water to flow down to the pond. I did a really good job, too. Instead of coming up to my ankles it only comes up to the top of the sole of my boot. Sigh. I hope it freezes up for a few days so I can actually get down to the coop with BOTH boots on my feet. (Something that didn't happen today, hense my hacking little depressions between the puddles so it all flowed toward the pond)
