Nope, all the eggs get collected same day and the one broody I have right now gets kicked off the nest nightly so I can grab eggs. I'm worried now that somebody I sell eggs to will come across one like that...

Did you maybe have an egg bound girl? It could have sat in her a few days and then released. Only say this since you said collected daily and other say it's been sat on.

Nope since I got the sportsman and I put them in each week at like 40+ a batch I've stopped candleing and assisting. But I was when I was using the smaller bator. Just don't have the time when stagger hatching each week. I still like to see how many I hatch though.

Ok doubt anyone will want but figure I will ask before posting on craigslist. Anyone want to buy some silkies. They are pet quality asking $5.00. They turned out to show too much of the fathers red genes for my taste and they have some black leakage.
