..I forgot to say I feed them a mush - Watered feed ( so I know they are hydrated ) with dots of sunflower seeds ) to tempt them to eat ..never fails

Oh so Sad What are you feeding them ? chick food will work for them . They need to eat something I think .
you could give them some scrambled eggs ...good nutrition for them as you dont know when they have last eaten
Ducklings and Goslings like their feed wet, and adding a little water to the feed (so it is somewhat soupy) helps to keep them from choking. They will also also appreciate fresh greens daily, and bugs and meal worms are a special treat. Sprinkle finely chopped greens in their water to keep them fresh and clean, as they will not eat dirty or wilted feed.
We thought we heard the mom, but never saw her. Thought for sure she'd come back for them. It is so sad. I wish I could've gottn to othes sooner, but I'm a newbie.
