Is peepers on the bottom ? she is striking a turkey pose !
Broodys - I hand feed them .
..I forgot to say I feed them a mush - Watered feed ( so I know they are hydrated ) with dots of sunflower seeds ) to tempt them to eat ..never fails

Rescued ? I hear a story there ? They are adorable !
Thank you! Going to try to get them to a new home this week since I can't keep them where I am. :(
Well, I found them between my fence and garage a few nights ago, waited for their mom (there were 11) but she never came for them so we put out water and a blanket in a cat carrier for them. They spilled the water on themselves, and when I went out to check them later that evening a lot of them died :( Luckily these guys were still alive and I blow dried them off and wrapped them in a heat pad, and here they are all set up in my room now :) Just wish I could've saved them all. A few must've ran off. 6 died.

Thats a large bunch for any Momma . she must have gotten killed .
Was the carrier open ? something must have got them . too .
Yes they love water so they get it all over ...

Oh so Sad What are you feeding them ? chick food will work for them . They need to eat something I think .
you could give them some scrambled eggs ...good nutrition for them as you dont know when they have last eaten

Ducklings and Goslings like their feed wet, and adding a little water to the feed (so it is somewhat soupy) helps to keep them from choking. They will also also appreciate fresh greens daily, and bugs and meal worms are a special treat. Sprinkle finely chopped greens in their water to keep them fresh and clean, as they will not eat dirty or wilted feed.

We thought we heard the mom, but never saw her. Thought for sure she'd come back for them. It is so sad. I wish I could've gottn to othes sooner, but I'm a newbie. I am happy the 3 I have here are doing okay and I was able to save them.

I am feeding them DuMor Chick starter, I bought it from tractor supply yesterday. It's made for Goslings, Ducklings, Chicks etc.
I am going to go to a local pet shop tomorrow to find some meal worms for them. I've heard they can eat small fish too, even when young. What kind of greens would you suggest? grass, dandelions, salad greens? Thank you so much for the replies and tips!
