Rancher I like the more colorful varieties, but I'd be happy with buff, partridge, a couple of columbians to replace my lost birds even. Right now I have 13 birds going into a 8x6 coop, so I can get a few more birds in there without really overcrowding. Really just want some pretty birds that aren't the colors I have.

And yes the blue laced reds are absolutely gorgeous. probably some of the prettiest birds I've seen regardless of species.

I wasn't aware W's came in buff, partridge or columbian. I do like W's and considered dropping one of my breeds for W's.

I had two very nice hens at one time, but Silver. When I first started I got three Silver and three golds from a hatchery. Not at all as nice as some breeders have.

Anyone want a light brahma mix cockerel? I told my son I'd attempt to rehome him before we decide to cull. About 9 weeks old, already has a very impressive comb and some wattles starting to come in. Not mean, but not overly friendly either. 

Still looking for a couple of EE pullets / chicks, preferably within an hour's drive of Le Roy. We will be at the poultry show in Stafford in October as well.

Kimera & others newbies here - call me paranoid - and I can take it - but there are people out there (and not all Americans) that TROLL boards like this for information to scam and rob people ... there are even stalkers who can use the little bit of info to figure out where people shop and follow them home.

If you ever know me - please never give out my name on a public board like this. Even the supply guy can have a stalker or identity theft

So I am just cautioning you - it is not a world I like to live in - but there you go. There are nasties out there & I have run into a few - You have to be aware so you can be pro-active.

I know you guys are just being friendly and having fun discovering who is where and who you may know or know of - but it is more dangerous than you may think !

I agree with this but what can we really do?

I have family on FB and that is the most searched place on the internet for crime fighting. Looking to catch people. I have an account but can't access it since I forgot the password. Which is fine. I get emails from FB do you know this person and that person, but surprisingly I don't know any of them.

Keep your profile empty and no one will know it's you I think. Or lie.

Keep what you say here about chickens and you should do okay. Don't mention medical and family stuff and you might do okay.

If you are on disability, comp or involved in litigation keep that to yourself. Though I won't hesitate to ask for prayer for DW, she's having such a time. I thought they said 4 treatments of chemo, they said eight! I'm having a hard time with all this. Going in and seeing so many people. Today there was a kid I swear was in his 20's.
