Just got done moving my rabbit hutch to the deck. Not sure if I mentioned I did end up bring my two lionhead rabbits with me on this move. I left my hutches in the yard for my friend to take the day we moved out she gave me her carriers to transport them down here and keep them in until I my hutch came that Saturday. I wanted to be careful with where I placed the hutch in the yard because after contacting the board of this community and getting a response copy and pasted into an email from the rules and regulations of "the Lake" I knew if anyone ever caught wind that I had them I'd be asked to get rid of them or bring them inside. So outside my back deck are steps centered in the middle and I tucked the hutch to the left of them just under the over hang of the deck. Well...yesterday I was at the bus stop and met another mother there who has a daughter that goes to school with my two. I was telling her about where we came from, what we were raising back in Tully, etc etc. She got so excited because she wants to raise too! So like us, she only wants to live here a year as well because she wants her own property so she can raise chickens. I told her if I find some land to rent I'd help her get started and she can share it with me. Anyway, I told her how the only things I had left that I actually brought with me (besides household cat and dog) were my two bunnies. She was shocked and was like "Wait, you have them here? At your house? Where?" So I told her how they are "stashed" under my deck in their new hutch that I just bought for them. Well get this one. Her landlord is on the board and when she moved in here her daughter had a rabbit and her landlord told her she'd have to rehome it or not move it. He did not allow pets whatsoever so she couldn't even bring it inside and be an indoor bunny. Isnt that crazy?!?! So she told me if I had plans originally to keep them on the deck then to get them up on the deck. So I did. Just so bogus how strict they are here. I can't wait to get outta here next year and have a house of own. I wish we had more time when this all happened but we just didn't. It sux. So if anyone DOES find out I have them they'll be moved to the basement or garage. Which sux cuz it's so dark in there. They need fresh air. So it sounds like I've found a new friend who at the same level of feelings about this place as I am. just thought I'd share that little crazy story with you all since I have chicken stories to share.![]()

You call that a little story? The story of my first marriage was shorter! AND crazier!
