Lynzi777, always good to know what is best for your dog, I have heard that before. They sound kinda like cornishx, don't want them to grow too fast. We got a Tennesse Mountain Cur, brindle pup at a shelter a
couple yrs ago. I stopped at a local feed store and was cringing at the price of Eukanuba and the others and the owner recomended one of the
Diamond feeds, said it was just as good. My main concern with pups is to feed them good food so they don't poop all the time like they do on a cheap dog food with corn and soy.
Looks like you will have to use a snowshovel rather than a pooper scooper with that one though! Lol!

I always tried to stay away from the "top" name brand foods since having our American Bulldog years ago. The breeder we got him from had a wealth of info on dog foods and told us how bad dog foods like Iams actually are for a dog. So now when I shop for dog food, if the first three ingredients are chicken byproduct, corn meal and soy I stay away. But yes these dogs grow so fast the key is to let them grow slowly so they don't develop health issues like bloat or pano. And yes OMG he's like cleaning up after horse! Lol

I worked with a guy who escaped Romania years ago. He said he new he came to a 'good' country the first time he went into a grocery store. He was amazed and in awe, they even have food for dogs! He said.Lol!

I just read about your owl problem. If you have/or could borrow a paint gun and pop him it would possibly solve your problem. It wouldn't kill him but he'd probably have second thoughts about enjoying chicken dinner at your house again.

Before adopting our dog last year, I researched all the dog food brands. TSC website is really good at listing all the ingredients and nutritional info. Amazing how those 'top brands' have so much byproduct and grain fillers. We settled on Taste of the Wild. We bought one bag of the Purina that he was on at the shelter, so we could transition slowly. There was a few meals he refused, but was also on his Lyme meds too at the time. Now he gulps it down without hesitation. And likes carrots and cauliflower that gets dropped on the floor. Dog eats better than we do...

I took the thanksgiving roos from big pen to very large dog crate with a super heavy tarp and the wise old gave up for now - but since it also knows where the hoop coop is ... I am sure it will be around to check things out -

I would like it to kill the moles and field mice .... but those nights I was talking about - it really got bold for the chicken dinner !!!!

Paint ball gun .... now I just have to find some kids ......

Metella, glad those boys are safe. On dog food, my dog had terrible skin problems until I realized that she had lots of aallergies, or sensitivities to foods. The testing for those was very expensive, so we just stay away from things that cause frequent problems, and now go with a grain free food that has turkey as a base. That too is very expensive, but she is a wonderful dog.

Evening all. Temp is dropping outside. Had to speak to the cheeps when I went to lock them up. Duke was a little nervous when I walked by the coop and he didnt like me shining to flashlight into the coop to check on everyone. I think they are beginning to work out the pecking order in that coop. Today wasnt too bad but its looking more and more like I will be missing turkey day. Gotta love retail.

Lynzi--jagger is just too adorable. Cant wait to see what the beast looks like when he grows up, Did you know they were used for boar hunting? There is a couple in texas who use danes to hunt wild pigs to rid them off farmers and others lands. They have a beautiful dane named Riddik. They call him 20 minute Riddik because he always finds and grabs a hog in 20 minutes after being sent out. He is amazing. Yes, they have kevlar body armor for all their dogs to protect them from those tusks.

Rancher--eggs and bread huh? Change your feed or brand of bread lately? I can only eat my eggs now that they are on non-gmo feed.

My Niece did a 2-3 week juice fast to get rid of her symptoms ..
I wouldnt advise that to anyone ..
It could be dangerous ..PLEASE go see a Doctor
