Well, he wasn't an escapee from a insane asylum.
I'm actually glad we stopped, that would have scared and puzzled us for years, carrying an empty birdcage through the middle of nowhere, probably twenty or more miles from the nearest house!
I don't think I would have ever taken that road again!
I was expecting to hear banjos when we stopped!

I hate when people say normal. I have a sweat shirt that says,

"Everyone seems normal until you get to know them". And it is TRUE. Everyone is weird one way or another and I wouldn't trust anyone who wasn't.

A few yrs ago I was driving through thousands of acres of state land on really out there back rodes with a couple buddies. We came across a guy walking up the road with a neckbrace on carrying a flintlock muzzle loader and a big bird cage like the one tweety was in on the loony tunes!
I was going to just go around him but one of my buddies who was trying to hold back the laughter said I had to stop.
The guy said he broke his neck recently in a car accident so he couldn't walk long hunting. So he has his wife drop him off, and when he wants to go back home he lets the raceing pigeons he raises loose, when they get home his wife comes to pick him up. He also metioned "hadta load 'ole Bess kinda light cause of the broken neck and all"
Turned out to be 'normal', my first thought was he escaped a mental health facility! Lol!

when i was a kid my old man used to come pick us up and take us back up to niagra falls ..we stopped at the angola truck stop the one with the over pass and the mcdonalds in it and there was 3 guys who were on their way back to buffalo with a goat strapped to their car hood ..makes ya think twice about wanting to even enter the woods during hunting season..

The pr of amerucaunas I got from chicken swap are giving me eggs. The pr of silkies that I got are giving me eggs. I lost my only copper maran roo. He was at the bottom of the pecking order and somebody beat him up.
