Can you email the pic to a computer ? Download it then ..look for it in the Avatar app

We shall see. It shouldn't be necesarry though - it's a 6 hour plane ride from California to New York. They should have no problems getting the chicks here on time and keeping them alive.

I was talking to my son about the chick problem ..
Is the box air tight ?
As the oxygen will be used up by the chicks and the heat pack wont work without oxygen...
I hope you figure out what is the problem is ...sure is disturbing

You have to go to the bottom an switch phone to desktop. Then it will let you, mobile won't.

Can you email the pic to a computer ? Download it then ..look for it in the Avatar app

YEAH! This might be much easier, depending on your phone (mines not that great in desktop mode on BYC).

Could the problem be the unheated, unpressurized baggage area of a plane? I can't believe the mail is kept in the comfortable areas of the plane. I am so sorry this is happening.

Pyxis so sorry the 2nd shipment didn't make it!
Back in Sept, I ordered 35 pullet chicks for a friend. Purely Poultry shipped on a Wed & they arrived Friday - some were DOA but most made it. When I picked them up at the post office they were in the outside entrance way between two sets of doors with cold drafts whenever the doors opened to outside. Usually they actually inside where the temp is regulated not where there's cold air!

I always have ordered 20-25 chicks even if I didn't want that many, helps. Some hatcheries will not ship less than 25. I've never had DOA.
Pyxis, is there any way for the sender to fill with more 'packing peanuts' of a different cheap breed? Do they hatch any other breeds they could add?

I don't have a computer. Just the phone. Computers are a bit out of my price range and phones can be got for free at best buy.

On the very bottom of the mobile site is an option to switch to desktop version. Then go to your profile and change avatar.
