I HATE STUPID RUSTY NAILS!!!

I was working in my garden and found one of those fantastic rusty nails leftover from the 70's then the house that stood there burned down. Ahhh, I found it with my foot. Blasted work boots are crap and now my foot hurts and is swollen. All patched up and back out to the garden I go.

Is your tetanus up to date? I am always getting cut or stepping on rusty crapt. Hope your foot is okay!

We just bought a new house.. we have a pond now and I was wondering if anyone has had swans? or how big of a pond do you need to have swans. I am probably going to clean up the pond this year but eventually I would like to have swans. I would prefer to have them free range I might raise a pair of geese first before investing in swans. I was just curious if anyone has any info or advice.
 
I thought someone in our town had swans, I wanted to get some, Wow are they $$ for a breeding pair. Mentioned it to the wife, couldn't believe so and so had a pair of swans, I'd be afraid of loosing them. She laughed, said they were fake. No they're not! I've seen them move across the pond! she said they don't move in the winter when their pond is froze idiot...I never noticed...Lol!

congratulations on the house and pond. We just put in a pond today. It took a whopping 3 hours, oh did I mention it is just a little 180 gallon thing. Craigslist is a great place to find inexpensive stuff. $20 for a $250 pond.

Howdy Stranger ...you still have chickens ? I know some have geese ...Swans ? not sure
