Things can be iffy when you don't know someone well. Lots of chicken folks don't know chicken breeds. Some don't care. Just us chickens snobs.

A hen that lays an egg is as good as any other I suppose. Can't taste the difference.

For your sake Runt, I hope it's girl. If not come and see me. I've got six hens on eggs and if each hatches out five I'll be happy, but I won't be keeping them all. I don't know why hens gotta wait so long in the season to want hatch.
