Use a Rat trap to catch them. I have a couple nailed to trees and bait them with peanut butter and/or cheese. Squirrelses carry diseaseses that can be passed on to your chickens just like mices and ratses. If you can set it where the chickens can't get at it that would be best. Of course it could be a Chipmunk or Rat too. Both are disease carrying rodents too.

Is anyone interested in a Roo, he's about one year old (estimating), gorgeous, great personality. He is a Black Breasted Red Phoenix Rooster. I ended up with three, and lately the other two have starting bullying him more and more. His name is George and I want him to go to a good home and not the dinner plate. He loves running up to you and eats out of your hand. He is an active crower and most of the time it is sing songy but sometimes he is still learning and it cuts off mid-way lol. I am located in Pine Island, in Warwick.
Yes if she is 5 ..it maybe her time ..Red the RIR is sick. She is very weak, she wobbles when she walks, and lays down to eat and drink. I gave her some apple and some chicken vitamins, and she is in a coop by herself. So if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks.
