So since it is March and all I figured I needed to get my act in gear and start talking more about Chickenstock!!!

Now I didn't hear back from too many of you so I'll ask again. I was thinking either May 4 or May 18th... I'm free anytime. We could do it the 11th too, but being that it is Mother's day weekend not sure who would want to come. So please let me know what weekend would be better and we can really start planning.... I can't wait to see everyone again!!​

I'm up for either day so far, so whatever is good for all. I already have my raffle gift sorted, not sure about chicks b/c I want to hatch my Bredas a bit later on as my 1st batch is mostly spoken for.
Looking forward to my annual outing and seeing everyone again

Can you tell me exactly what goes on at "Chickenstock"? I'm not far and might want to join in this year....oh shoot, just saw the date, it's my parents anniversary so may not be able to but still want the info just in case!

It is a day where all of us N.Y. peeps can get together. We bring a dish to pass and something to donate for the raffle. Some peeps bring chicks/ chickens to sell or other items such as started plants or trees. It is usually a great time to put faces with screen names and talk to other people that don't mind that all conversations tend to be chicken or poultry related.

It was a Warm day Yesterday but it rained most of the afternoon .When I came home they all looked Drowned ...even the Stray Cat ( he hangs out with the chickens) Chickens were outside ...but Especially Cutie ..but he was the worst and he looked cold...He is no longer Head Rooster and gets chased out of the coop by Buster ...( He is Not allowed to go in and warm up As Buster wouldnt let him ... .)
..so i caught him ...and brought him inside to dry out some and warm up ..Here he is in a Towel ..Both of us were nice and toasty after 10 min ..The 2nd one is a selfie.. He was ok in the morning
