Hello, Wildorchid053!!!
I myself haven't ordered from Nature's Hatchery......but I have a friend in NJ who got some chicks from them last Spring. She was very pleased .....all 25 chicks arrived in prefect shape. I checked their site....a really nice selection of chickens and other poultry!!!
Sincerely, Kathy in NY

Sonew... I am actually DROOLING that I found out I'm so close to you. We should do lunch some afternoon. I'd love to get a chick/chicken/or eggs from you... I'm doing an incubator experiment starting this weekend (in the morning actually...) I decided to do a fertility check.. so I made quiche! I am at only 50% blasto's (5 of 10 eggs in the quiche) so I am going to place 7 eggs in the bator I've been collecting the last 3 days and that are currently sitting in and being turned in my wine fridge! I am hoping that 7 will produce at least 2 so they are not alone... wish me luck! I have my Ameraucana??/Brahma (or so I was told) roo over my partridge chanty and my non-cross beaked BR female... wish me luck!

So my NY friends... I may have found my farm

Hey, Kristen!!!
What a fantastic place......definitely looks like a winner to me!!! And a great price....with a lot of potential!!! I've always loved the older homes. An organic farm....what a great idea!!!
Regards,
Kathy

Wow! What a great place! Go for it. Make sure you get a profesional home inspection. It will save you a lot of headaches in the future. Voice of experience here.

I have a few things to finish here, it's going to be a contingency sale. This house is almost ready though... so I think it may be time to go look at the other one. I hate the idea of trying to move my flock during the cold months though
