Lots of snow here too. About 2 1/2 ft now and its been snowing on and off all morning. Thank god I have not lost power with all the babies I have right now and 14 eggs on lockdown in the bator.

Here are some pics of my BO and BOx chicks. They are out in the coop with their mom (its her first time being a mom!) and they are all doing great. She is keeping them all warm (with the help of the heat lamp!) and well fed. They are the cutest little things! I cant really tell the difference between the BOs and the crosses yet. They are crossed with red sex links. They appear more red on their backs but then again they all have a little redish gold coloration. Anyways here they are! (I hope everyone enjoys these pics, I had to shovel through 2 1/2 feet of snow to get them lol)

Awwww!

It's been snowing here since, I can't remember when it hasn't been snowing. Days! Nothing really sticking though. Our little peeps are 1 day old and starting to really run around.

Central Hudson is down the road I hope they can restore our power
I feel bad because it has started to snow really hard again and stick

morning... our power was restored last night

it is nice to get some things done here... It is still lightly snowing

Hopefully all of our friends will be restored soon...
I candled my eggs and I lost them all I am lucky to have two but
with my luck they will be boys

& I'm glad my DH really loves me

cause I have a 2.5 month old boy in the basement crow everytime he hears me...

I hear ya I am working like a nut cleaning... well tea break right now.. I really need to grocery shop & am dreading all the other people
finally getting out it will be crazy... I have some of my own eggs ready now for the bator...
