See now here's the thing. I have Delawares. Some from Western NY and some from Speckled hen from GA. I have some EE's 8 wks plus. I can't keep all of them and it looks like 2 out of 6 are roos. My SIL is from Central Square, and I've traded for goat cheese and some other stuff in Mexico, NY My point being Rt81 runs up and down and the Thruway runs east to west. Connections can be made. Arrangements can be made between chickens people. I just acquired 2 Lav Amer from chicken stalker in a hand off from trylin. Who is very nice and lives nearby. So perhaps if you connect with someone in your area who wants some of the same things or something other and the person they are going to connect with has it you can work together and make the transfer. Or you can say if you see this or that at the auction can you get it for me? Come to the Bridgeport auction together. Share the ride.
Bartering give a list of what you got to trade.

right now I have Dels and CM's hatching. I've got EE's older and sexed. Got a pair of Dels older 8-10 weeks outside now. No brooder necessary. I could use , straw , manure other than chicken, help cleaning my run and coop. About an hours worth and of course $$$$.

That's the general idea.

I will gladly trade goats milk soap and lotion for some Delawares . I would also take a few EE would like greys if you have any , o what the heck I like them all . I have an appointment with the baby on May 13 in Syracuse if we could meet then . I could also have some cheese made for then if you would like . We will be a state lisc. dairy by fall {If we are not divoriced by then , can anyone say stress} I can also transport going either way . I live in Evans Mills.

I would like to go to the Bridgeport auction let me know when it is.

Yep, I'm up in Little Falls for right now. My husband and I are looking into mortgages right now, hoping to move into our own place this summer. Trying to learn where it is and isn't legal to have chickens, not that that would 100% rule out a place, but it would be nice. Do you have chickens there in Utica?

I can no longer come to this forum ....you all are gonna get me in trouble. I was at TSC and got 65 meat birds for .50 each ...no were the heck am I gonna put them ????
