Too far for you maybe but the schuylerville one is every saturday night. Drop off animals between 3 and 6PM.

Chatham auction doesn't list Chickens. Have you been there? Do they have chickens? I have this week off, could take them either to Chatham or Central Bridge if they do chickens.

Only once, and years ago. I really don't remember them not having chickens. But if they don't list them, chances are they don't I guess.

My husband came home with some electric thing today? Supposed to put off some sound, Sacha could hear it but the Chi must be going deaf... I heard mixed reviews on the night guard thing.

Hubby comes in and says the deer have mowed down his garden. Me being a total you know what says "Gee, a fence with electric probably would have been helpful, huh?" <I don't know if it would keep deer out, lol>

No more offers of Turtles for ducks today. Someone was supposed to come get the chickens but didn't. Poo. Just someone asking if I still had stuff... Yeah, but two less than yesterday. Why do they ask if you still have stuff if they don't actually want anything?

well one of my daughters japanese figured out how to escape the pen today, tried to take a pullet with him.
we found the pullet put her back in her pen.... roo no where to be found....

the pen has a bolt lock at the top and an eye and hook at the bottom... pen is 3 feet off the floor and there is a 6" board (barrier) going across the door area so when they were chicks they couldnt just run out dont know if someone forgot to latch the bottom or not. but we have been keeping the doors open and a box fan on them for this heat....


now he's just plain gone. hope to find him in the morning... every neighbor around us has dogs and there are wild things in the way back of the property.... we lost our ducks - to what we think might have been a fox 2 years ago.... sooooo cross your fingers that we can find him before something noms him.

we have too many roos but i dont like something tragic to happen to them.....
