NY chicken lover!!!!

Nearly Noon Friends

The count down is coming and I hope all yall NY folks will be bracing your self for our presence... it is a force to reckon with ask anyone on the Okies in the BYC3 and they will vouch I am telling the truth...

We are currently working with a realtor and if all goes well we may purchase instead of renting when we get to the FT Drum area.... We have a house in mind but we are realistic that anything goes in this day and age...

All I know is how much I miss hearing the sound of ducks, chickens and our goat.... Hope, if Lord willing we buy a place(or at least the place we are eyeing from afar) that my moping around for animals will cease come spring...lol

Alright. I have to share this. I logged on to the thread and went to this page. At the top, I see posts from Middleburgh and New Berlin. I grew up in Middleburg (without the "h") PA and New Berlin (PA) was about fifteen minutes away. For a minute, I thought I was in the wrong thread!!

Thanks for more welcomes, everyone! Looks like our trip has been pushed to mid month October now. Our horse had a freak accident getting her foot stuck in the gate when she wanted to come in for dinner and after dozens of stitches is on stall rest for at least two weeks. Argh!

I hear ya on the anti-rain dance! Looks like we'll be wet for some time. I think it's worse down here in swampy Jersey, though!
