Haven't heard of it, however, if you go, please let us know how you like it.

PS if you ever go to Sharon Springs, go to the Black Cat Cafe.....oh so yummy food there.

I could do the Black Cat - my niece and her family live in Carlisle. We also happen to have this week off.

Let me know how you like it.

Tab's: I am so sorry to hear about your predation problem. Hope you find out whats been doing it soon.

Yah, my weather freak hubby says he thinks we won't get more than a dusting here.. if that.. ah well.

NYD chicks soon to hatch! wish em luck!

Have to cull a BO pullet tomorrow I think. Not looking forward to it and I suck at it. /sigh. I wish I had a crusty old farmer neighbor who could do these things for me in exchange for eggs.

NO SNOW....and it's pouring here. Reminds me, I have to check the basement in case water is coming in. Sometimes the float sticks on the sump pump.

LUCK to the eggs/chicks.

Why do you have to cull the pullet? I HATE that. I sincerely HATE doing that. Do you have a pair of long handled "nippers" for trimming trees? That's what I used, with the chick in a bag so I saw nothing. (Didn't stop me from crying the whole time tho.)

She's WAY too big for that I think. Just started laying and she's huge. She has wet and dry fowl pox. Seems the mosquitos come back with this warmer weather.

I'll have to use the broomstick. I am hanging in there to see if she improves, but wet pox is nasty.

I better check my sump also, don't even have it hooked up to the outside drain and I have feed in the garage (which will get wet if the sump isn't working).

I am so sorry for you. That is such a sad but sometimes neccesary part of owning birds.

Rain here also, loads of it. Ugh.

They don't recover from those diseases? I will have to research them, cuz I remember a meantion of them a long time ago, but forget what I read.
