NY chicken lover!!!!

Dear Glass; At one point in time I had 13+ animals roaming around my home(I didn't have chickens at that time). My house is the size of a postage stamp. My husband is a veterinarian and brings home all the rejects for me to take care of.Some how word spread that I was the turtle lady of E islip I was rehabing turtles. One with just 3 legs (cut off by a lawn mower) one hit by a car(needed 4 surgeries to get him up and running) and one the size off an oreo cookie (he is now over 50# and lives in my basement in the winter). Ever one that comes to my home just shakes their head . I just can't let them be put down.My mother in law has the most to say but I really don't care.I certainly understand.
Personally, I love my little house filled with family, friends and animals compared to the giant mansions empty of everything.

Outstanding! You deserve a rest. It is always quite tense filled while waiting for the babies to arrive-always worrying if you've done all the "right" things. Although, from just reading alot of posts, I have found that you can do all the "right" things and still have hatching difficulties. What amazes me is that some people do what I would consider wrong, and yet they still have hatches. Go figure. Thanks for answering my questions. I am one of those perfectionists-always looking for the exact "receipe" for a good hatch.

Glasshen: Congratulations on your chickies!

Rancher: Thinking of you with all this rain. My DH is really feeling it. He is an excellent barometer.

Queenchick16: Pics of your 50# Turtle please.

Trying to get over a stinking cold. Blah.....

Ginny- I'm glad your hatch was good. I hope you're able to figure out posting pics. I like the idea of seeing the fuzzy cuteness.

Tab, I managed to get a few pictures. I thpugh you might like to see the silver/blue one especially. I get migraines occasionally and today my head thought someone had played football with it. will try to post soon.....

I tend to use mozilla on my main computer(mac), but I recently bought a cheap laptop to drag areounthe house...can't go long w/o BYC. Peolpe on this thread have recommended google chrome along with "my computer guy" so he installed it in the laptop. We shall see. I resist change...I don't mean to, I just do!. Time for a long hot bath with extra Epsom salts and bed to sleep off this migraine. Hope everyone has a great night!!
