And this week in chicken news from the Big Apple:

1) 2 poor chickies were found huddling in the plantings outside an apartment building in Midtown Manhattan on Sunday. The cops picked them up and took them to Animal Control. I wish i were in a position to take them in because they're adorable and probably have quite a story to tell. If you follow the Twitter link, you can see a video someone made of them. The commentary by passers-by in the background is priceless.

2) For a mere $3500, you too can own this totally impractical (and uncomfortable looking!) coop:

Can be assembled without tools & has a solar powered fan. SNORT!

Ugly as sin, too.

I can't open any of the links. Is it me?
