It's much larger than what you will need but it can be scaled to fit any situation. Best of all, it's a NY coop and works wonderfully in our climate!
such an impressive coop :eek: :eek: :eek: ! I'm working with a tiny fraction of the sq footage but hope my coop can still be standing height and as efficient and comfortable as yours!
 
Thank you everyone! I have a question nagging at me while I plan for the chicks arrival. What was your experience integrating your flock with your current pets, if you have any?

I have two dogs and one cat. They are all well behaved but the younger dog and the cat are used to boxing and wrestling each other all day. I know they will want to play with the hens, so I tried to pick breeds that wouldn't be too small or overly docile in case they need to set a boundary. Of course I plan on keeping the chicks safe and separate, but would like to hear about other people's experience introducing their flock to their animals and how they get along now.
