Hi,

All of my eggs have been set and are warm! I did my second candling of my duck eggs and 12 still are rockin'!! I am so excited! I swapped 2x and my other batch I lost 6 out of them. I was also sent quail eggs, this is my first experience with quail. I must admit I have no idea what to do with them if they hatch!

I candled them and of course they were all good! Good luck everyone!

Quail are super cute. Depending on what type youll need a brooder , heat and water and food, game bird starter is best but unmedicated chick starter is ok if you really cant get the other. They are itty bitty when they hatch and need there food ground up for them I blend mine in a blender on grind. If its jumbo brown quail / cortunix , They can be meat birds. only takes 8-10 weeks if I remmber or you can eat there eggs , There funny and if you handle them gentley and talk softly to them they tend to be really mellow my son totes mine around alot lol only a couple of the roos mind.

Dont forget marbles or something in there water dish.. I have had a few of the little buggers drown themselves they just stick there heads right in tere and lay down in the water

"What chirping? I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't hear anything."
