Nystatin

I gave my chicken some nystatin and Gatorade cause she was lethargic and she died like an hour later. Could it have been the meds???

She might have aspirated or choked, but it is hard to know for sure. How old was she? Other than being lethargic, what were her symptoms? I would only give a chicken a drop at a time, depending on age, letting them swallow between times. Best is if you can get them to drink on their own by dipping the beak for a second or holding a small cup under their beak. Sorry that you lost her.
