My chickens all run back inside when they see one, but they do the same if they see a bluebird, mockingbird, cowbird, or something equally nonthreatening. Maybe it is good training, as they do the same if they see a hawk.

very cool, disquieting kind of harbinger of doom crossed with Mothman Prophecies picture. My reaction would to be to look as perky (i.e. alive) as possible.

They are all over the place here. And yes I am glad that they "clean up" the dead animals. They just hadn't been this close before even if they were just sunning themselves. We used to live futher back in the woods and I guess that there was a place that they like to roost for the night, because there were close to 100 that would come by our house.

Never could find where they went.
