Ok question-i researched a d can't find a solid answer.
We have live oaks, and alot of pollen. It's everywhere, I also have month old chicks in dog crate brooder. I moved them into yard yesterday, and noticed, they were eating through wire, as much of head and body as they could, to get oak pollen. Like kids with Halloween candy. Is it dangerous?
After noticing that, I looked further, anywhere my adult chickens forage-no pollen,
Everywhere chickens can't get-covered in pollen.
Comments suggestions opinions?

I got huge oaks (4) in my yard. baby chicks are roaming around just fine. if anything is bad I'm sure they will spit it out as distasteful...I think every living think has some natural instinct...if it tastes bad, it probably is bad.
