I've read that we can mix oats in with the chick starter (on top of the brewer's yeast) for the ducklings food. Are old fashioned rolled oats ok? And if yes, how much do I add to the food.

Thanks in advance!

How old are the ducklings?

Old fashioned rolled oats is good but wait till they are around 3 weeks old just to cut the protein down a bit to ward off the possibility of angel wing that would be the only reason to add oats at this point. And def keep up the brewers yeast. Any time you add anything to their feed you'll need to offer chick grit only chick starter or all flock crumble can you feed with out grit.

Thank you! We made sure to add grit to anything other than the starter feed :)
