Obese Ducks with Impacted/Sour Crop?? Help me.

I noticed in the photo your Duck is yellow ....That is caused from too much corn...Plus it makes them fat.....I now feed a classic scratch grain mixed with my Duck finisher.....It has less corn.....

Just a tip and I hope this turns out great....:).......Poor Ducks...:(
 
Hi can anybody help, my duck has a very large crop, she is very quiet too, was doing well then I read I needed to give oyster shell like my chucks has this caused this? Any advise wot to do

How long has it been like that? Can you massage it? Does it feel like one big lump or a bunch of feed? Do you give grit? How old is your cute duckie?
 
Imshare Miss Lydia's thoughts...Sometimes Sieben or Salem will look like that. It may be a dietary imbalance, overeating, or something more serious.

I would watch her for a day. Oyster shell free choice not close to the feed pan is what I give.

What is their diet, including snacks? Mushrooms around?

No mushrooms near ducks, but they do have a treat of sweet corn each day only a small hand full

It seems to come and go have been monitoring over last couple of days, have massaged feels like one lump, she is more vocal than she was she is about 5 months now, still laying
