Dawn snarled to herself. She leaped to her feet, glancing around with her blue eyes. She looked down toward the scent of water, and slunk through some thick bushes heading towards it. Something made her cautious, though she didn't know what.

Eventually Katherine (I think I'll start calling her Kat too.) fell asleep. Her dreams were mostly nightmares, but none of them were that disturbing.
