Hi everyone I'm a person with severe OCD My biggest addiction is INCUBATING! Urghh I am so impatient! It's like the beginning of October and I already found hatching eggs! I will incubate in spring but SPRING IS SUCH A LONG TIME AWAY!

Well, this is what happened when I hatched chicks for the first time, under a broody hen. 100% hatch rate! Not so good when I realized what had hatched. Half were roosters, who are still sitting in the backyard in their bachelor pad, waiting for something to happen. One of them probably has the chicken version of ADHD; he can't stand still for more than five seconds. He's the blue and gold one. I think he'll be really handsome when he gets all of his feathers in! They're all about 22 weeks old in these pics.

So the plan was, add 5 chickens for the new backyard coop, and 10 for the farm.

Order so far is 17 (ok only 2 more, not too bad), but that’s not counting the Wheaton Ameraucauna eggs I am setting in June.

I just ordered 27 more birds to come in May!!! I already have around 60, but I need more.

I ordered 7 Welsummer pullets and a male, 10 Whiting True Blue pullets and a male, 4 EE pullets, and 4 Bielefelder pullets.
