Wow, what a great thread! It's really interesting to read the diversity of jobs... you always forget how many different ways there are to earn a living...
Me:
*Farmer (selling at 2 farmer's markets, starting a CSA next year)
*Writer/aspiring author -- freelance articles for local newspapers and now a non-profit (writing their monthly newsletter and other publications), aspiring author with a manuscript that maybe, just maybe, someday will be published...
I graduated not too long ago with a Master's degree but, well, it doesn't really do as much good as I'd hoped it would, and it turned out that with this crummy job market the only job I could find was growing food and selling it... (no joke...) Now as the farmers markets close down for the season I'm going to be trying to find any way I can of making money!! The line between self-employed and UNemployed is kinda thin and scary sometimes.
I think we should form a BYC writers' group... it seems like there are a lot of BYC writers & editors... nurses, too, but that's not my thing
Thanks to everyone who helps make their country and community run! Especially the SAHMs... we owe you for the work you put in to making the next generation a great one!
