mlmadura - Pediatric Nurse? You are worth your weight in gold! Having spent more than my share of time hanging around the doctor's office and Children's hospital, I can honestly say that I would lose my sanity quickly having to cope with the emotional drain of seeing sick kids (and parents on the verge of nervous breakdowns) on a daily basis.

Me, I'm a mother of two small kids and a full time software engineer in persistent need of more sleep.

I saw a couple biochemists on here - anyone want to hire a research chemist? DH is looking for a job slightly west of Philly as his fellowship is ending soon.

I got into raising chickens since I wanted a hobby that has nothing to do with computers.
And yet, here I am talking about chickens on a computer. Weird.

Hi everyone ~ I have been an oncology nurse for thirteen years, married to a dr. (anaesthesiologist), mom to a beautiful 13 yo girl, and expecting (finally) baby no. 2 on Dec 15 (by section), a boy.

I went to school for 10 yrs with a girl whose family owned a mortuary. Her father wouldn't tell us real answers we wanted to know.

Ask away...probably nothing I haven't been asked before.

I think most people are curious about death related things.

My fiance works at McDonalds but is in the process of finding something "better". He now knows why so many people leave there...

But compared to some of the "cool" jobs here, we feel kind of lame.

I have always wanted to either be a body piercer or own a mortuary and do the people's makeup..
