hey there! I am a part time "animal care specialist" at an animal shelter. basically I care for dogs and cats, work with their behavioral issues to get them adoptable, do adoption counseling and everything else that comes with sheltering homeless animals. I have worked for my shelter for almost 7 years now! (wow)
I am also mom to 2 great girls, lots of pets and a wife to an awesome hubby.

In a prior life I used to train race horses, and travel travel travel. I got weary of the travel, bought a little farm in Florida in 1999, and now have a few mares on the farm with me, I work as the office manager of a large Thoroughbred training center about 2 miles from me, so Ive gone from moving 5 times a year cross country, to driving 2 miles to work and back, and staying home! I love it! Home to some mares, my sweet puppies, and chickies. It will take an act of congress to get me to move now. Im done.

I'm a member of the MOB (Mother Of Boys)!!
Seriously, aside from "mothering boys", I work one day a week as a Legal Assistant to help with gas and "mad money". I have an administrative (aka secretarial) background.

I am a self employed house keeper. I also help the elderly with errands, ect... The cleaning houses part of the job is really wearing on me and my hands but i love helping people and am known for going above and beyond for anyone. I also raise chickens for eggs and as pets and am the caretaker of our home, I do it all and then some. My husband works for the City of Minneapolis at the waterworks. I am also going to school for a CNA/HHA certification.

I work for a great major insurance company. I perform a job known as 'Competitive Intelligence'. Basically, I do technology research on what customers, consumers, and insurance agents want for website functionality, and I make recommendations to help my company set it's technology strategy.

I also attend industry conferences and help to be an advocate for my company to the industry, and an advocate for agent and customer needs to my company.

I love my job.
