OCTOBER EGG SWAP Is closed!!!!!! . . . . . . Addresses are out!!

I had 7 out of 8 eggs develop from emvickrey. All 7 have hatched!!!!

The 8th one I am still trying to figure out if it developed or not. It was way to dark to see inside so it is still in the incubator. Its only day 23 so I will let it go a couple more days just to give it a chance in case there is something in there.


Ignore the messiness I hadn't cleaned it yet this morning.

I had only 2 chicks hatch from my eggs, but I always have trouble with silkies

There is one white and one blue, so at least they'll fit right in

I also had silkie eggs from 1234muki set to hatch at the same time...only 2 of those hatched too

My swap eggs went in lock down and only 1 made it that far. The rest where quitters.

The Partridge rocks that I got are due to hatch any day. Only 4 made it to lockdown.

None of the ones from Betsy even started to "cook" at all.

I ahvd 5 mille Duccles hatch. 1 died though it look like it had a knee locked?? Count bend it

and come to think of it . . . the eggs that I received the same week didn't develop either. A whole dozen of seramas and none of them developed.

I noticed that if the box they come in has live empryos or hatching eggs on it they don't develope or very few do. If it just has fragile or very fragile written on it they make it. That is if they where going to in the first place. Thats how my last several boxes have been done and the fertility has been good. The person I sent my eggs to had 7 out of 8 hatch. All my EE's here have been fertile and hatched. I just had one hatch just seconds ago and 2 more before that. One more in there of mine to go and it's zipping. The other I got from the swap is just sitting there still.

I always write "FRAGILE" on my boxes because I don't know what states prohibit shipping eggs without NPIP and AI testing. My eggs are hatching at home but seems like all the eggs that I shipped and received during those 2 weeks didn't do much of nothing. BUT that happens and its the risk that we take.
