OCTOBER HATCH-A-LONG!!! 2015

Today is hatch day and I am hearing chirps from the bator. I think two have started to break through it is loud enough I can hear it clearly ten feet from the bator. And I had a weeper. Had to open up the bator and get it out. Luckily I keep paper towels under the eggs. So not a big mess.

I am waiting a few more days. happy hatching

Sunday, I'm hoping it just quit I've got my old incubator heating up so I can just transfer them to it. I didn't use a Turner in it I only went new because for me it was a large batch going in

How long does everyone leave eggs that dont hatch in the bator?

I usually go until day 25 as long as they don't smell I have gone to day 28 before and still nothing stunk but after candling they were clearly dead

The earliest I've given up was day 24

I generally wait 24 hours past the last hatched egg.
