Sorry about your hatch Fernie but I'm glad you got some of the buffs to hatch. How far away were the buffs shipped from? Well hopefully there is a roo in there and congrats to all on the hatches and so sorry for those that have lost numbers

Give them a week- they will double in size and have lots of play space!

So, my broody got off her eggs and they are cold. She's in complete molt and I have no idea how she's keeping anything warm.

I put the other crew in lockdown in the incubator. I have my mix chicks....hona rooster over/ blue isbar hen, black isbar hens, hona hens. I also have a couple sussex in there.

Then I am turning the incubator off...

My peafowl did not hatch. The air cells suffered too much damage by shipment...same with the bantams. I had one bantam hatch but he did not make it through day 2.

Okay- onward...and happy happy hatching!
