I think you should do whatever you want!@LadiesAndJane My eggs are due on the 10th. Since it’s no longer October, would you prefer if I posted them in the grow out thread? Or would you rather I start my own thread with them and tag you in it? Thanks![]()
Thank you for the quick reply! I think I’ll post an initial picture of them post-hatch here, then anything else in the grow out thread if that’s good with you. 9 more days to go! I can’t wait!I think you should do whatever you want!
Love to have you on our grow out thread for October.![]()
Today the DAY?!?!Thank you!! :-D
Today they may start pipping! One of them was looking closer to hatching than the other two when I candled last night, so we shall see!Today the DAY?!?!
Don't lose hope yet! This last hatch NONE moved or chirped prior to external pips! Never had a hatch like that....Still no pips…but two are very active and moving around a bunch! #2 egg isn’t moving much at all but moves once in awhile, so I’m not hopeful it will make itMaybe it’s just focused on its task? But my experience says it’s probably not gonna hatch. Boooo
Well tomorrow hopefully brings more action! It’s really hard to tell when they’ve internally pipped with the weird saddled air cells, but those two seem a bit more drawn down than egg #2 who is still moving ever so slightly. The vessels are still intact and functioning so I haven’t given up yet on egg #2…but this is seriously the part about hatching I hate…the waiting and worrying that they won’t make it to hatch after all the time and effort we all put into it. Sweet little babies that don’t make itDon't lose hope yet! This last hatch NONE moved or chirped prior to external pips! Never had a hatch like that....
