Bargain, I got my eggs! Only one had a small crack in it. I got them on Friday. But I let mine set for 48 hours if they have been shipped to settle. I do wonder....what are those brown eggs?

I have a shipping question: Ive noticed some folks are shipping eggs on a Thursday and Saturday. How well will or do eggs hold up on a Thursday - Friday or Saturday shipping dates when they have the likely possibility of being held up at a post office on Saturday and Sunday?

I thought eggs were usually shipped on Mondays - Tuesdays and Wednesdays (depending on distance) to make sure they weren't too old when they arrive.

Unless the eggs are collected the morning they are shipped (Thursday) and they don't arrive until Monday and you let them rest one day that makes the eggs 5 days old. If they were collected on a Wednesday that is 6 days.

I'd like some thoughts on this question.
