Hi! The only day I don't think is 'good for shipping' is Thurs.

Mon ship arrive Wed / Thurs.
Tues ship arrive Thurs / Fri.
Wed ship arrive Fri / Sat.
Thurs, Fri, and Sat shipped eggs usually arrive on the following Mon.
Almost always, eggs shipped on Sat from here arrive the following Mon --- making Sat a great day to ship.

There are always exceptions.

Bargain, I got my eggs! Only one had a small crack in it. I got them on Friday. But I let mine set for 48 hours if they have been shipped to settle. I do wonder....what are those brown eggs?

I was worried since I had never shipped eggs. The brown are supposed to be RIR, but my grandmother told me she may have gotten the eggs mixed up when she collected for me. If they are not RIR's they could be a mix of things, but I will send more RIRs to you. Good Luck!​

Alright...I know we're supposed to be surprised and all, but will you guys tell me who got my name in the swap? I have a friend who is going to save me some of her eggs to incubate to, and I'd like to have an idea of when they may be coming so I can tell my friend when to start saving them. I don't want to start up the bator for only 6 eggs....might as well fill 'er up! LOL

I did get the message from Tiffany that whoever got my name said her birds quit laying. Honestly, that's fine...just don't want my friend saving eggs for me and them getting too old to incubate, etc.

Got my eggs today...Mailman was kind enough to honk and hand them to me instaed of laying them out in the cold. They all look great, Thanks.

Am heading out now to send mine off to my person. Sending them overnight unless priority is a one day trip.

ETA: Got to the po and forgot to take the address with me so had to drive back home to get it(Whew!!)...Sent them out, still sent them with express although they won't be there until Wednesday by 3:00pm, but priority wouldn't be there til Thursdayish and I didn't want that...Good luck and if you have any problems with them let me know and I'll fix it.

I really did think that it was Bargain, but SittinPretty told me I got some RIR eggs too!!!! Thats great. It is my DHs favorite chicken.

I'm packing mine up today--my Orps started HIDING their eggs last week, so I was only getting one or two a day! So, I gathered for a week, and I'm sending a whole bunch extra, to hopefully make up for the fact that some of them will be over a week old when they arrive.

Mine are going to Texas, I think...
